Library

The space - The Counties Manukau Health Library has relocated to a new light, spacious and comfortable space on the ground floor of the new extension to the Ko Awatea building. It is a great place to study and do research.

Our staff are here from Monday to Friday from 9AM to 5PM to assist our community and primary care partners in South Auckland.

The Counties Manukau Health Library supports the information needs of Counties Manukau Health, its partners and community to achieve better health outcomes for our people.

Collection - We have a wide collection of databases, journals and ebooks available online through our extensive digital collection. Our staff can guide you on how to locate and use these materials in the library and online from home or clinic via our Discovery portal.

All of our resources are available 24/7 from any device for Counties Manukau Health staff and community based and primary care partners working in Counties Manukau.

If you are a Counties Manukau Health staff member accessing the library resources off site, when prompted for a user name and password to access any of our online resources, please enter your staff employee number and first name. New staff members can request a temporary password from the library if your employee number is not being recognised.

Health professionals working in the Counties Manukau region are also able to register for online access to a selection of databases and resources and are invited to register using the online form. Your access includes the Proquest Database, Journal and eBook Collections, and Clinicalkey and Clinicalkey for Nursing. ClinicalKey includes access to hundreds of journals, thousands of ebooks and an excellent point of care tool: First Consult.
