The Ko Awatea Centre is a fully equipped events hub with modern facilities to host your meetings, presentations, conferences and much more. It is a hive of activity, where our current and future healthcare professionals can meet, network, teach and learn. It represents the diverse, new, exciting and prosperous partnerships built around the common goals of improving our healthcare and growing our future healthcare leaders.
Ko Awatea Centre features 21 fully air-conditioned function and breakout rooms plus two large lecture theatres and one computer lab. The Ko Awatea Centre is a modern environment with modern capabilities to match. We have a Technology Help Office, providing service and support to the Centre and its users.

You can eat, drink and use the Wi-Fi in our social areas.
The technologies that we have in the Ko Awatea Centre can be used to fit a variety of applications and situations. We also have a computer lab that can be booked out in advance, or we have communal computers based by Wishbone Cafe.
You can connect to the Ko Awatea Wi-Fi with most Wi-Fi enabled devices. The Ko Awatea Wi-Fi network allows access to the internet and required resources to assist with learning activities. Connecting your wireless device will require the username and the password of the day, which can be found on the PC monitors in the Centre.
Wishbone is the preferred on-site caterer, located in the Ko Awatea Centre. There are also several catering companies that we can recommend for your event.
